Reflective Gold Inlay and Sterling Silver Triangle Pendant

gold inlay and sterling silver triangle necklace
Made of very highly polished Sterling silver, this piece reflects all the colors around it!

As you may know, I teach Jewelry fabrication. I created this piece to demonstrate to my students how to inlay gold wire into a flat surface, and it turned out wonderfully.

There are several 14kt gold accents in this pieces. The bail has lovely gold swirls that match the flow of the design in the middle. I have set 14 kt. balls on each lower corner of the piece, as well as a gold accent at the base. Price: $165 (Item N- 110)

Carnelian Cabochon Sterling Silver Gingko Pendant

Red carnelian cabochon stone and silver gingko tree leaves necklace pendant
Some fossils of the gingko tree date back 270 million years

This Sterling silver pendant swings like the falling leaves of the ancient gingko tree. Gingko trees have always been surrounded by lore and are often assosiated with longevity. You can even read more about what Botanist Peter Crane has to say to Yale Magazine about Gingko trees here.  In this pendant I have chosen to set a 7 mm round Carnelian cab in a Sterling bezel on top of the gingko leaves to shine with the color of late summer. Sold with an 18” Sterling snake chain. Price: $ 140 (Item N-106)

Green Maw Sit Sit & Tsavorite Sterling Silver Pendant

Myanmarese or Burmese Maw Sit Sit and green Tsavorite cuttle bone necklace
What a rich color Green – this one practically made itself!

The Maw Sit Sit stone comes originally from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). This particular stone caught my eye for its unusal shape and color striations. Sometimes, irregularly shaped gemstones are difficult to design around, but this one practically made itself!

To accentuate the unusual shape of this stone, I set it in a Sterling Silver bezel setting and topped the pendant with a 3.5 mm faceted round green Tsavorite stone. The angles in the Sterling Silver cuttlebone casting pull out the color variance in the Maw Sit Sit stone. The bail will easily accommodate any 3 mm chain, however this pricing includes a 18″ snake chain. Price: $260 (includes 18” snake chain)

Sterling Silver and 14kt Gold Pietersite Pendant

Tempest stone in Sterling silver pendant, Game of Thrones

This stone is also called the Tempest stone because of the swirling colors that resemble a storm. It’s a large oval measuring 31 mm x 22.5 mm. Set in a bezel with a Sterling top using the cuttlebone casting technique. To bring out the colors of the stone, I’ve soldered on three 14 kt gold balls as accents. Pietersite is said to help us keep centered on our spiritual being. Great to facilitate meditation, and to catch the eye! I’ve also soldered on a Gold accent on the bail that can accommodate a 3 mm chain. Price: $175.

Sterling Silver Indian Moss Agate and Citrine Pendant

Turn up the heat this summer with this striking pendant. Indian Moss agate is my favorite semi-precious gemstone, and what better way to accentuate it then with a cuttle bone casting silver accent? This piece has an tourmaline bead riveted to the top of a sterling decoration and a rich looking orange pear shaped faceted citrine hanging below. Price $245.

Stunning 14kt Yellow Gold Enamel and Amethyst Pendant

Magic happens when two artists collaborate! The rich colors and stunning textures of this pendant blow me away every time.

What a success! My gemstones and cuttlebone casting combined with my fellow artist Ligia’s purple iris enameled piece create a fabulous pendant.

In this commissioned piece, a talented friend of mine that I have worked with for many years came to me with an enameled purple iris of hers to set into a pendant. I designed a setting for her beautiful enameled piece that incorporated the organic forms from the cuttle bone casting technique. I feel this setting really highlights the natural beauty of the subject. I accented her enameled piece with a bezel set oval faceted amethyst at the top of the pendant.

I have worked previously with Ligia, a miniature artist, several times. Her talent for enameling, paired with my metal work has created some very stunning art pieces.

I have worked together with many other artists over my 40 years of experience, setting their creations to complete the design. Would you like to collaborate?

If you are also an artist and have ideas for working together, please send me a DM with a proposal.

Show Stopper Sterling Silver, Moorsinite, and Yellow Citrine Pendant

Moorsinite stone elegantly balanced with a citrine

Elegant balance achieves show-stoping beauty…

Ribbons of silver gently accentuate the curves of this triangular moorsinite stone. A citrine balances in the corner, tantilizing the movement of your eye.

I bezel set this shield style Moorsinite stone and surrounded it with a curling ribbon of sterling silver. I accented the corner of the piece with a pear shaped yellow citrine for off balance charm.

Priced at $350. Unsurprisingly, this show stopper found a home very quickly and is SOLD.
